Big Changes Are Coming To Hurricane Stoke
New management, new ideas and a relaunch we are aiming for on 1st November.
Relaunch aimed for 1st NovemberWe have been listening to your feedback, and we want to make your experience at Hurricane Stoke better than ever.
So we are making some changes. This page is a first look at what we are planning. Some of it is still being worked on, so nothing here is set in stone yet, but we wanted to share where we are heading.
New management: meet Cameron
Cameron Cowie
Cameron will now be managing both Hurricane Stoke and Hurricane Penkridge.
He started at Hurricane Penkridge when he was just 15. He is still a young man, but he has more experience than most. His name comes up in our reviews again and again, and always for the same reason: he is outstanding. He is committed to making sure every visitor has a fantastic time and wants to come back.
He currently runs our Penkridge venue, and now he is bringing that same energy to Stoke.
What we are planning
Dates, prices and details are still to be confirmed. We will share them as soon as we can.
Home Education
We are planning to bring Home Education sessions to Stoke on Tuesdays, 1pm to 3pm. The plan is £8 per child, pre-booked only and limited to 10 kids, so it stays relaxed and everyone gets space to play.
Improved SEN sessions
We are planning to run improved SEN sessions on Wednesdays, 4.30pm to 6pm. Cameron already runs the SEND sessions at Penkridge, which are consistently full, and we want to bring that experience to Stoke.
New kids and family clubs
We are planning new sessions and clubs for kids and families, and we are looking at gaming favourites like Minecraft, Roblox and toddler gaming. Watch this space for dates.
Adult nights
We are planning a monthly 18+ night with a DJ and gaming. A proper night out for the grown-ups.
Alcohol for over 18s
We are working on adding alcohol to the menu for adults. More details to follow once everything is confirmed. It will never be served during kids' sessions.
More retro arcade
We are planning to add more retro arcade machines, including car racing, motorbike and basketball. Retro consoles are on the list too.
Improved memberships
We are planning to add extra benefits to memberships, such as bring a friend for free once a month. More perks to be announced.
Better party packages
We are planning to add more to our party packages, such as a milkshake for every child and a birthday cake included. Less hassle for you, more fun for them.
Cafe updates and a new menu
We are planning some work on the cafe and a change to the menu, so you can relax with something tasty while the kids play.
A quick heads up on disruption
We will not pretend there will not be some disruption while we make all this happen. Here is what to expect:
- Building work taking place in the venue
- Changes to some of our club days
- Possible temporary reductions to our pay to play opening hours
We will share exact dates on our website and socials as soon as they are confirmed. Thank you for bearing with us. We think it will be worth it.
And there is more to come
This is just the start. Your feedback is what got us here, so if there is something you would love to see at Hurricane Stoke, tell us. We read every message.
